    Position: Lead Xamarin Developer with the intention of becoming Technical Director in 12-18 months.
    Location: Warwick
    Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 (possible flexibility to £60,000 if exceptional)

    The looong wait... There's a point in the progression of a software engineer when you've reached Senior and there's no way to step up to the next level. You're sat on a similar salary to what you've been for a number of years, but what options do you have? You'd either have to wait for the lead or development manager to leave (which is probably a bad sign for the business) or when the position does arise, through expansion, you somehow have to prove you're better than the other senior developers and should be considered over the guy who's been there for years before you...

    It's like a queue where everyone wants to push in. A rat races of sorts, but I have a solution, for those who can prove themselves capable

    There's quite a fascinating start-up I'm working with, in Warwick, who are looking for a Lead Xamarin Developer, to be hands on for the first 12-18 months as this particular team grows from 5 to 10 people, you'll be promoted to Technical Director and take ownership of everything tech related.

    There's a large variety of projects you'll be getting involved in, but the important thing is that you'll not simply be building a solution and then trying to market it, you'll be identifying the true, underlying, problem and solving this with the knowledge and expertise of what will be your team. It's for these reasons that they've already received a large number of UK and EU innovation awards.

    Starting salary between £45,000 to £60,000, Xamarin experience would be particularly useful, as would experience of leading a small team.
